The presentation of awards is rightly seen as a high spot of the ADF year, taking place at the Federation’s prestigious Annual Dinner. This year entry to the awards process is changing to reflect the ADF’s work in improving the status of companies and individuals in the independent aftermarket. For a start, there is a new category – ‘Parts Advisor of the Year’. It’s clear that with the introduction of the ATA for Parts Advisors and Senior Parts Advisors, the excellent parts people in the market can be recognised and rewarded. The ADF award will enhance the ATA programme by singling out the year’s outstanding employee.
Employers can nominate their leading parts people by completing the nomination form – click HERE – we need the nominating employer’s details, the nominee’s details and a short statement (30 words maximum) as to why that individual has been nominated.
Nominations for the existing awards of ‘Distributor of Excellence’ and ‘Supplier of the Year’, along with their CV market counterparts, will now be open for nomination by any ADF member. This change also recognises the activities of the ADF in improving company performance through application of the Federation’s Code of Practice and preliminary work on certification of company processes. Guidelines which have been developed as a consequence of that work will be used to measure entries to the Distributor and Supplier awards.
Nominations for all categories are open now, members, please make yours without delay.
It all makes for an exciting redevelopment of the ADF awards and, of course, for an exciting evening at the ADF Annual Dinner!
The ADF’s Annual Dinner takes place at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel, NEC, Birmingham on Thursday 3rd December - secure your places now.
